One style trend that I’ve been loving these days is monochrome. It’s one that has been around for years and arguably remains timeless. It can be a bit intimidating to pull off an outfit in the same hue but it’s really a lot easier than it looks. What I really love about it is how much time it saves; since you don’t have to think too much about what colors go with what, while still getting that effortlessly chic look.
The key to monochrome styling is playing with textures. You don’t want to wear one color in the same fabric from head-to-toe. Playing with textures brings the outfit to life. Here, you’ll see I’ve paired knits with other fabrics like cotton, wool, leather, polyester. Another hack is to try different shades of the same color or styling within a color family. This actually works well especially when you don’t quite have the exact same color top or bottom in your wardrobe. Also, never underestimate the power of good accessories to complete a look!
Alright, let cut to the chase. Here are four monochrome outfits I wore this fall! Which is your fave? Leave a comment! xx
